Willow City Loop

Imagine cutting through the wind and being surrounded by hillsides with wildflowers. This 20-mile route has it. Located outside of Fredericksburg, Willow City Loop is not just a local favorite riding destination, but hundreds of riders from nearby states come specially to ride along this road. It’s like riding through a garden with the most colorful blooms and perfumed aroma.

If this wasn’t enough, riders can also enjoy stopping at several bars along the route. In addition, you may even be interested in doing some wine-tasting as you cut through the Texas Hill Country American Viticultural Area where there are just over 50 wineries and vineyards. Just be responsible for your consumption.

Gruene-Fredericksburg-Bandera Loop

Take a ride on beautiful scenic roads between Gruene, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Bandera, TX. As you venture into this loop, you’ll absorb breathtaking views of the countryside and farmland where the river flows and ponds glisten. Apart from being surrounded by nature’s best, you can also take advantage of learning from historical museums along the way. This option has a little for every rider, from country stores to dance halls.

 The Three Sisters Loop

If there is one thing most touring bike riders have in common, it’s a love of long rides. That’s why our third recommendation is riding along a 130-mile loop that begins in the town of Medina, TX. As you venture into these winding roads, you’ll be amazed by beautiful ranches, twisting mountain curves, and clear rivers where you can stop to cool down in the Frio River. We must point out that there aren’t many gas stations or other amenities along the way, so fill your tank and your stomach and pack food and water before heading out on this journey.

Of course, these aren’t all the best places to tour. For the rest of the list, visit Mission City Indian Motorcycle® where our experienced riders will be excited to offer more recommendations.
